Here is one of my favorite actors of all-time and here is what I think his top movies are what do you think.
Vampire Kiss
It's an American Dark Comedy Cage plays a Yuppie literary agent who is slowly going insane.
Valley Girl
wasn't anything big in the box office but the movie helped launch his career from beginning actor to starring in bigger movies
Matchstick Men
Cage made this movie good he was absolutely terrific and made the film feel like a good-old fashioned con movie.
Peggy Sue got Married
This was a great movie that went with the times of 1986 and made me feel it was 1960 all over again.
Birdy
It wasn't anything big and you could forget Cage was in it but it was a touching story abou the aftermath of Vietnam.
Leaving Las Vegas
Cage greatly portrayed a suicidal alcoholic and it was the first in a string of three straight to gross over $100 millions dollars.
Raising Arizona
Remarkable spectacle of characters, sights, sounds and events Cage had his first chance to shine.
Moonstruck
Cage and Cher starred in this movie and both of them brought a ton of energy to it and and it's one of the best post 70's romantic comedies you will ever see.
Adaptation
Cage pull off one of the most amazing technical stunts in this movie and shows he can be a daredevil.
Face Off
Cage and Travolta put on one of the best actoring performances I have ever seen in this thriller of a movie.
Red Rock West
One of the best Western film I have seen you can tell that a person that loves making movies made this and loves old western movies.

Film & TV on DVD
Nic Cage really sunk down for me after Leaving Las Vegas. Adaptation stands out as his best film of the last decade. Totally dig Birdy, Red Rock West, Valley Girl and Matchstick Men.
Here is my Top 10 Nic Cage films:
Vampire Kiss.
Wild at Heart
Red Rock West
Birdy
Adaptation
Bringing Out The Dead
Lord of War
Raising Arizona
Rumblefish
Leaving Las Vegas

Vampire's Kiss is my favourite of his performances, followed by Birdy (great movie, although not as powerful as the novel), then Leaving Las Vegas, Wild at Heart, Adaptation, Raising Arizona, Face/Off ...
These days his hairstyle/hairpieces tend to upstage him.
Valley Girl is a cute, unfettered performance, but he was still refining his craft.
